Çukurova Basketbol; sadece iyi basketbolcular yetiştiren bir kulüp değil, yazacağı hikayelerle başta bölge insanı olmak üzere, tüm Türkiye’nin kalbini ısıtacak modern bir takım olma yolunda emin adımlarla ilerlerken sosyal sorumluluk projelerine de büyük önem veriyor.

Önce Mersin, sonrasında ise ülkemizin farklı kentlerinde yaşayan dezavantajlı ailelerin evlatlarına çocukluklarını tattırmak için çeşitli çalışmalar sürdürülüyor.

Bu kapsamda; yetiştirme yurdunda kalan çocuklar otobüslerle maça götürülüp, birçoğunun ilk kez basketbolla tanışması sağlandı.

‘Bir Mimoza da Sen Yetiştir’ sloganıyla düzenlenen gösteri maçının geliri, kız öğrencilerin eğitimi için bağışlandı.

Şiddet olaylarına dikkat çekilmesi amacıyla kadını simgeleyen mimozalar, ÇBK A takım basketbolcuları tarafından toprakla buluşturuldu.

Şair ve iş insanı Sait Dervişoğlu tarafından maddi durumu yetersiz olan öğrencilere yönelik başlatılan tablet bilgisayar kampanyasına katkı sunuldu.

Normalleşme süreci ile birlikte çocukları otobüslerle evlerinden alıp takımımızı desteklemeleri için maça götürmek.

Çocuklar ile A takım oyuncularını buluşturarak sohbet etmelerini ve hatıra fotoğrafı çektirmelerini sağlamak.

Belirlenen mahallelere basketbol sahaları kurmak.

Ödüllü üçlük ve serbest atış yarışmaları organize etmek.

Gelecek dönemde dezavantajlı mahallelerde yaşayan çocuklara yönelik, kulüp maskotu ÇUKO’nun da yer alacağı çeşitli eğlence organizasyonları düzenlemek.

Destek verilmesi halinde oluşturulacak mobil araçlarla basketbol ligi oynanmayan dezavantajlı illeri ziyaret etmek, köy ve kasabalarda yetenek taramaları yapmak.

Tüm illerdeki basketbol antrenörleri ile irtibatı sürdürerek, yetenekli gençleri Türk basketboluna kazandırmak.
